We look at Artists Against Apartheid, Muslim Fest, and the Montreal Oil Spill.Stephane Christophe outlines the message behind Artists Against Apartheid. It is one forum where artists who take part in the struggle for social justice can come together. He is proud to live in a city where artists aren't just creating for commerce, but express their art to help others. Artists Against Apartheid brings together artists in support of the struggle for Palestinian liberation.Poets, musicians, graffiti artists and families came together for Muslim Fest this year. This was the first Muslim Fest in Montreal. ; Commedians from Allah made me funny (
http://www.allahmademefunny.com/) were on hand and the organizers of Muslim Fest really want to bring the faith to you to let people know more. Did you know there was an oil spill on the St. Lawrence river? It probably wouldn't have made headlines had it not been for the oil spill off the gulf of Mexico. We speak with a representative from Environment Canada about the damage done and how it will be repaired.
